Born from caring for my mother, Iris Place shares that same gentle love with others.
Iris Place began long before its doors opened. My first opportunity to care for someone came from the woman who raised me — my mother — as she journeyed through dementia. In those tender moments, I learned that real care isn’t about tasks or routines… it’s about patience, dignity, and loving someone enough to slow down for them. Every smile, every gentle reminder, every hand held taught me that compassion is a calling. Iris Place was born from the love I gave her, and from the love she poured into me first. Today, I honor her memory by extending that same comfort, softness, and respect to every person who walks through our door.
